Nothing is worse than spawning in at a bad uplink so here's a little list of tips for everyone
•make sure the uplink isn't in an open field or able to be camped from a distance
•make sure the uplink has multiple ways to escape from, this helps prevent camping
•try to put uplinks somewhere where they could withstand an orbital, typically putting them indoors or with overhead cover does the trick
•never place an uplink somewhere high up that requires you to inertia dampener into enemy territory, this can, and will lead to your team being slaughtered do to the momentary pause as you land
•don't put any uplinks in tight spaces, this leads to irritating glitches
If I missed any good tips, please post them

I think you covered it pretty well Thanks btw. It's bad enough when blueberries do it, I don't want to worry about my squad doing it as well!

Don't face a wall when you place the uplink. Turn around, back up to the wall/corner/whatever, then drop it. Gets annoying when you have to you turn around every time you spawn in. Makes it a bit easier when you can hit the ground running instead of having to back up or turn around. Just my opinion.

•Two uplinks within ten meters of one another is ridiculously pointless and only draws enemy attention, thus getting both destroyed. DON'T DOUBLE UP!!!
•Try to apply a marketing sense to your uplinks. Are they appealing to who is spawning on them? Will they keep people spawning on them repeatedly? Will it serve the team long-term? Think ahead and you'll definitely get tons of team spawn points.

Can I just agree with the last point in the original post? I'm tired of dumb a** blueberries putting uplinks down where I get stuck in the wall and I'm unable to move. And then the whole team spawns on it so the next enemy to scan us all knows EXACTLY where to drop his orbital...
