PC is not the end all or be all for a corporation, especially at the point in the game we are at. Upon the release of the 2.0 patch, the dust 514 Starmap will be opening up, allowing access to far more systems than what lays in Molden Heath, also allowing you to gain more than just territory.
What I mean by that is right now by holding territory you gain nothing. The way you earn ISK from holding territory is you must hold a single district uncontested for at least a week before it begins providing income, defending it doesn't matter you can not even be attacked or it resets the whole week. Because there is such a small amount of territory being fought over by all the corporations in the game, this allows incredibly small opportunity for profit to be made.
Nonetheless PC is a great learning experience for the players who get to take place, and it can be a lot of fun when you get into the swing of it. It is for this reason that I would like to move forward with the first steps to regular PC battles. For those who have been in PC before, you know the level of organization that is required to not be slaughtered all over the field. For those who have not, you'll want to take my word on it lol.
We have been rapidly moving to a point within our corporation where it is time to start formally training and practicing. This isn't a very fast process, nor is it an easy one, but it is necessary for the progression of any corporation. I would like to get a list of all of our members who wish to start partaking in more active PC battles. Please post a few details about your history in PC battles if any, and anything else that might be useful in making a PC roster (total SP, MIC y/n, Suit/gun/role, etc...). At the end of your post please include a hashtag with one of the six: Heavy, Assault, Logi, Scout, Sniper or Tanker. This will make it so by clicking on the hashtag, you will be brought to a directory with all the other posts including the same hashtag (ex. if you are a heavy you can click your heavy hashtag and be able to see all the other heavys who have posted).
I'd like to remind everyone that whose who have posted their stats as requested in this thread will have priority to get into P.C. matches
some examples of informative posts:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name,
Role - Sniper
Playstyle - Camper/observer. I sit back and snipe in the mountains. I can be valuable in scouting out enemy movements and providing covering fire. I am especially good at taking out anti-vehicle suits such as swarm launchers or heavy forge gunners. I do not get in the thick of it, but as for long range support, I have the best crosshairs.
Looking for - Squad that recognizes the use of having a good sniper watching their backs and needs support from afar.
Playtime - 5PM-9PM EST I work early in the morning so it is best that I get to sleep early as well. Though I can be online between these hours.
KD - 4.2
SP - 3.7 million
MIC - Y/N

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name,
Role - Heavy
Playstyle - I get in the middle of a fight and play king of the hill and I usually come out the king! I bring the pain with a heavy minigun with unsurpassed damage output. What else can I say? I shoot stuff and get shot, and I smile all the way.
Looking for - A squad that has a logistics core, as I can stick in the fight alot longer with a logi bro.
Playtime - 6-10 PM GMT
KD - 1.98
SP - 2.6 Million
MIC - Y/N
